The Early Years Provider (EYP) Hub is an engagement tool used by local authorities and their providers to enable a secure end-to-end process that supports headcount, the making and handling of funding claims and the validation of new pupil eligibility.
Integrating with council payment systems, the Hub offers records for audit purposes, reminder workflows and alerts and has built-in processes for early years census completion.
Via the Hub, providers and local authorities can check against the DfE’s web service for eligibility. It allows teams to manage:
Manage the process of handling termly or monthly claim periods and weekly or hourly rates within the Hub. Local authorities can manage all aspects of claims and download relevant reports. Settings can submit claims on a pupil-by-pupil basis and view all previous activity.
Providers can record Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) tracking assessments for each pupil on their register. Assessments are available to record a baseline and progress against the prime and specific areas of learning set out by the DfE’s EYFS statutory framework.
Providers and local authorities can use the EYP Hub to submit their sufficiency contributions towards an aggregated set of on-screen reports, better informing both parties toward a continued and sustainable level of provision.
Private, voluntary and independent providers who offer early education funding in England can amend and submit their census return to the local authority from directly within the EYP Hub.
